Mr. HCS Perera received his LL.B from the University of London. He completed his Post-Graduate Diploma in BVC (Bar Vocational Course & LLM (Advanced Legal Practice) at University of Northumbria in Newcastle. He holds Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy (B.Ph) & Theology (B.Th) from the Urban University of Rome and is a PhD researcher in Legal Jurisprudence.
He was called to the Bar in 2001 as a Barrister- at – law by the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple and specialized in Personal Injury and Immigration work. He has dual qualifications having been also admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales in 2007. He has over 15 years of experience in Immigration, Personal Injury, Commercial & Residential Conveyancing areas of law. Mr Perera is the Principal Partner of the firm as well as the Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration- COFA. He is authorized by the Law Society of England & Wales to provide training to solicitors and has published articles, addressed academic and professional institutions in his areas of expertise.
Mr Perera is passionate about issues of justice, morals and ethics. He also runs an orphanage for destitute children and a school for deprived youths in Sri Lanka with a view to , empowering them with skills development and training.
Mr. Kayode Elegbede received his LL.B from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria in 1997. He thereafter attended the Nigerian Law School for his Bar Vocational Training and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1999 as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
He was in private practice in Nigeria for a while before joining a multinational oil services company in Nigeria whose oil exploration activities spread all over the Niger Delta Region. While there, Kayode gathered extensive experience in Oil and Gas / Energy law, Civil, Criminal, Administrative, Corporate Commercial and Arbitration law among several other areas of practice. He rose to the position of Legal & Administration Manager before returning to private practice in 2007.
Kayode is also Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales. His areas of interest include corporate business, international commercial arbitration, civil, criminal, property (including landlord and tenants), immigration and human rights laws.
Kayode is the Managing Partner of the Rest Harrow Solicitors LLP and a member. He is also the firm’s Compliance Officer for Legal Practice- COLP.
Besides English, he also speaks fluent Yoruba and a smattering of French. A life-long supporter of Chelsea FC, Kayode enjoys travelling, reading for pleasure, meeting new people and watching animal/nature documentaries.
