Mrs Katarzyna (Katrina) Khezour> has completed her Legal Practice Course at the BPP Law School in London and holds a Graduate Diploma in Law (CPE) from the University of Westminster. She has also read law and administration at the University of Warsaw in Poland and holds a Masters degree in Roman Jurisprudence from Polish University Abroad in London.
Katrina joined Rest Harrow in February 2011 as a paralegal/caseworker and has been assisting Mr. HCS Perera, the principal partner with residential/commercial property, civil litigation, employment and family matters.
She also acts as an in-house translator for Polish speaking clients and attends court hearings to assist clients, solicitors and counsel.
Consultant- Philippines- Non-Solicitor
Mr. Romulo Rivera is a qualified solicitor in the Philippines having been admitted to the practice of law there in 1978. As preparatory courses he took up Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in Education (AB-BSE) Degrees in St. Louis College and graduated on top of his class Valedictorian and as Cum Laude in 1973.
He worked as a part-time lecturer in, and taught political, commercial, and civil law subjects at the St. Louis College, Sea & Sky Colleges and Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University for over 20 years before moving to the United States and later the United Kingdom where he took up post graduate studies, attended various seminars and training courses.
Apart from the University of Houston in Texas, he is an alumnus of The Centre for American and International Law (formerly The Southwestern Legal Foundation) and attended the Commercial Arbitration Workshop of the Institute for TransNational Arbitration in Dallas, Texas, USA.
He joined the Rest Harrow Solicitors LLP in January 2013 as a Paralegal and assists in areas of practice including Immigration Law, Residential and Commercial Conveyancing, Housing Law, Family and Employment Laws, Civil and Criminal Litigation, including Bail Applications, Wills & Probate, Appeals and Judicial Review, among others.
His professional and civic affiliations include: The Integrated Bar of the Philippines where he served as Governor for the 13 provinces of Northern Luzon (2003 - 2006) and President of its La Union Chapter in 2001-2003. He served as Presidents of several other civic organizations including the Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union North, and the YMCA of the Philippines, La Union Chapters. He is also an associate member of the National Association of Licensed Paralegals (NALP), Society of Asian Lawyers, Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants (JCWI), and presently the Adviser of the Associations of Filipinos in Bristol, and Mitcham Filipino-British Association, all in the United Kingdom.
